Many women reach midlife sensing that the strategies that helped them cope for years - pushing through, staying strong, and overriding their own needs - are no longer sustainable. For some, their bodies and energy simply no longer allow them to keep living this way. For others, something deeper shifts and they realise they no longer want to. Often, it is a combination of both.
This transition can feel unsettling. It asks us to step into uncertainty and into ways of living that may feel unfamiliar, risky, and even scary. At the same time, this period of transition offers a real opportunity to make the shifts many of us have been yearning for.
